Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to express my grave concern over the alarming rise in road accidents caused by reckless driving in our locality.

Nowadays, speeding buses, trucks, and bikes constantly compete on busy roads, making streets unsafe for pedestrians, students, and senior citizens. Drivers frequently overtake from the wrong side, jump red signals, and use mobile phones while driving. Young bikers without helmets also perform dangerous stunts, causing fatal accidents almost daily.

Therefore, I earnestly request the traffic police to enforce strict vigilance, install speed-breakers, and impose heavy fines on violators to save precious lives.
