Letter to Friend: Importance of Reading Books & Newspapers | Class 10

Hope you are hale and hearty. Today I am writing to share the importance of reading storybooks and newspapers regularly alongside our academic textbooks.

Textbooks help us score marks in exams, but reading newspapers every morning keeps us updated with current affairs, science, and sports while improving our vocabulary and writing skills. Similarly, good storybooks broaden our mental horizon, enrich our imagination, teach moral values, and relieve the stress of exam preparation. I strongly suggest you spend at least thirty minutes daily reading beyond our syllabus.
