Model Writing / Solved Answer
With due respect and humble submission, I beg to state that I am a regular student of Class 9, Section A (Roll No. 12) of your esteemed institution. I could not attend my scheduled classes from the 18th of September to the 22nd of September, 2026, owing to a sudden severe attack of viral influenza accompanied by high temperature, acute throat infection, and severe physical debility.
Our family physician diagnosed the condition as acute viral fever and strictly advised me to remain under medication and complete bed rest in isolation for five days to avoid relapse and prevent potential contagion among fellow classmates. Now that I have recovered satisfactorily and am deemed medically fit to resume my academic pursuits, I have rejoined school today. The medical prescription and fitness certificate issued by the registered practitioner are hereby enclosed for your kind perusal.
Under these circumstances, I earnestly pray and hope that you will be kind and benevolent enough to grant me leave of absence for those five days only, and oblige thereby.
Date: 23rd September, 2026
Enclosure: Medical Certificate
