Today, road accidents have become a serious problem in our daily life. To reduce these tragic mishaps, the Government of West Bengal launched the campaign ‘Safe Drive, Save Life’. Most accidents occur due to reckless driving, over-speeding, and using mobile phones while driving. Driving under the influence of alcohol and ignoring helmets or seatbelts also cause fatal injuries. Furthermore, pedestrians often cross roads carelessly without using zebra crossings. We must obey traffic rules and follow traffic signals strictly. Human life is precious. Through self-awareness and proper traffic discipline, we can make our roads safe for everyone.
