Once two friends were walking through a dense forest. They promised to help each other in times of danger.
Suddenly, a huge bear came out of the bushes. One friend immediately ran and climbed up a tree. The other did not know how to climb. Having no choice, he lay flat on the ground and held his breath, pretending to be dead.
The bear came near, sniffed at his ears and face, and took him for a dead body. So, it walked away into the forest. The friend on the tree then came down and asked smilingly, “What did the bear whisper in your ear?” The boy replied, “The bear advised me never to trust a false friend who leaves in danger.”
