Trees are the most valuable gift of nature and man’s best friends. They give us life-saving oxygen and absorb harmful carbon dioxide from the air. Trees also prevent soil erosion, bring rain, and provide fruits, wood, and shade. Unfortunately, people are cutting down trees recklessly, which causes global warming and severe climate changes. To save our earth, large-scale tree plantation is essential. We should celebrate programmes like ‘Van Mahotsav’ and plant more saplings in schools and local areas. Students must take the oath: “Each one, plant one; save trees, save the green earth.”
